Terms of Service

Last updated: November 2026

Please read these terms before using Rabta (a product of arqo). By using Rabta.com, or by chatting with Rabta's number on WhatsApp, you agree to these terms.

In short — 30 seconds

  • Rabta only connects buyers and suppliers on WhatsApp. It does not sell goods, deliver, or take payment.
  • The deal, payment and delivery are between the two of you — Rabta is not a party to them.
  • Verified ✓ means the Rabta team visited the shop in person. It is not a guarantee of the quality of the goods.
  • Rabta does not take a commission on any deal. Paid plans are only fees for a badge and visibility.
  • Reseller: either a fixed Rs commission set by the supplier (wakala), or margin — buy first and take possession, then sell up to the MRP.
  • A listing may be removed for being fake or for false details.
Read the Privacy Policy
1What Rabta is — and is not

Rabta is a connector: we connect buyers and suppliers directly on WhatsApp. Rabta is not a marketplace — we do not sell any goods ourselves, keep a warehouse, make deliveries, or hold the payment of any transaction.

2No commission — listing free to start
  • Rabta is free for buyers right now (launch offer).
  • A basic listing for suppliers starts free.
  • Paid tiers such as Verified ✓ and Featured ★ exist only for trust and visibility — they are badge/promotion fees, not a transaction commission. Rabta takes no commission on any deal.
  • Free features are part of the launch offer; before any paid plan applies, Rabta will tell you in advance and it will be your choice.
3What the Verified badge means

Suppliers on Rabta have three levels. Registered: listed, but the Rabta team has not seen the shop yet. Verified ✓: a Rabta Saathi visited the shop and a visit record (date, address, photos/video) is kept. Factory verified ✓✓: the factory was visited. Each badge shows the date it was verified and must be re-verified after 12 months, otherwise it lapses. A badge does not mean Rabta guarantees the quality of goods, delivery time, or any deal. A supplier's Trust score is built from verification, approved buyer reviews, quote reply speed and complaints — never from payment.

4Transactions are directly between you

Once a buyer and a supplier are connected on WhatsApp, everything after that — the whole conversation, negotiation, payment, delivery and quality — is directly between the two of them. Rabta is not involved anywhere: it does not collect payment, handle goods, or become a party in any dispute.

5Reseller program

The reseller (Saathi) program has only two ways. The supplier's profile states clearly which one applies:

  • Commission (wakala / brokerage): the goods and the price belong to the supplier. The reseller brings the customer to the supplier, the supplier sells and ships to the customer themselves, and the reseller receives a fee for their work. This fee must be a fixed, pre-agreed amount (Rs per piece or per order) and must be shown on the profile before the deal — not a percentage or an amount decided later.
  • Margin: these are two separate sales. First the reseller buys the goods from the supplier at wholesale and takes possession themselves, or through their own courier; then they sell the goods to their customer up to the MRP. The customer's first order is only a booking / promise; the real sale happens after possession. In this model the supplier does not ship to the reseller's customer directly — if they did, it would be the commission model.

This arrangement has been confirmed by a mufti. Settlement is directly between the supplier and the reseller — Rabta does not handle money, track anything, or take part in any commission calculation.

6Your responsibilities
  • Give correct, truthful information in your listing or RFQ.
  • Speak respectfully on WhatsApp.
  • Do not post fake listings or false product details, or try to deceive anyone.
7Removing a listing

Rabta has the right to remove any fake, incorrect, or policy-violating listing without notice, to keep trust in the directory.

8Complaints and disputes
  • If you have a problem with a buyer or supplier, first try to settle it directly with them on WhatsApp.
  • If it is not resolved, file a complaint at complaint.html: choose the issue (faulty goods, delay, a payment problem, deception, or other), enter the supplier name/number and attach evidence such as chat screenshots, a bill or a photo. You receive a ticket number (CMP-…).
  • Rabta records the complaint, asks the other party to respond, and usually tries to give a first reply within 48 hours. This is an effort, not a guarantee.
  • Rabta is not a judge or arbitrator and is not a party to any deal. Rabta does not hold money, so it does not take responsibility for getting you a refund or compensation. Money and goods are settled directly between buyer and supplier.
  • On its own platform Rabta may flag a report, pause a supplier or RFQ for review, remove a listing or close an account. A single report never removes a listing automatically; the team reviews it and decides.
  • Filing false or malicious complaints or reports, or using them to deceive Rabta, is not allowed and can lead to your account being closed.
  • Information you give in a complaint is used only to handle the complaint and protect the platform (see the Privacy Policy).
9Prohibited items

Listings, RFQs and quotes for the following are not allowed on Rabta. They will be removed and the account may be closed:

  • Counterfeit goods, brand copies (replica, "A-grade copy", "master copy") or misuse of someone else's trademark.
  • Goods prohibited by Shariah or Pakistani law: alcohol, narcotics, weapons, stolen goods.
  • Fake or unregistered medicines and medical products; expired or adulterated food.
  • Counterfeit currency, forged documents or certificates.
  • Obscene or adult content; unsafe goods such as hazardous chemicals without permission.
  • False claims: selling goods you do not have, or promising a "guaranteed" deal in Rabta's name.

If in doubt, report it.

10Limitation of liability

Rabta is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that any supplier will always be available, or that an RFQ will certainly get a reply. Rabta, its founders and team are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of Rabta.

11Changes

As Rabta grows — new cities, new categories, new pricing tiers — these terms may be updated. When there is a major change, the "Last updated" date on this page will change.
